Teaching My 6-Year-Old Daughter The Art of Photography: A Cozy Home Studio Experience

As a parent, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as sharing a passion with your child. For me, that passion is photography, and I recently had the pleasure of teaching my 6-year-old daughter the basics of using a camera. We set up our cozy home studio at Ozgo Productions and got to work. I started by taking photos of her and my wife, trying out different outfits. Shortly after, she took over. I showed her how to zoom in and out, adjust the aperture, and frame a subject. It was amazing to see how quickly she picked up on everything and […]

A Proud Parent Moment When My 6 and a Half Year Old Daughter Took Over a Professional Photo Session

As a professional photographer, I have been taking pictures for years, but nothing has ever compared to the experience I had when my 6 and a half year old daughter took over an ad hoc studio photo session our friends ask me to do. After a few images, my daughter offered to take over the session for me. To my surprise, she did an amazing job! She showed a level of maturity and skill that I hadn’t expected from someone her age. She captured some beautiful images and also had a great sense of humour, making sure everyone was having […]

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is an extract from a maternity photoshoot with Tatiana, a beautiful 37 weeks pregnant lady. The entire session was around 1 hour long and included 3 different backgrounds (white, brown and black) and a short session on location. If you are pregnant or you know someone who is and looking for a fun and creative maternity photo session please let me know. Like, comment and share!

179-2020 – Perfect Pose

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is a perfect pose of Diana, which technically she took it herself. The camera was setup for a group photo of our family, on 10 seconds timer when Diana suddenly pushed me aside demanding to take the photo. She pressed the shutter and quickly run in front of the lens and stroke this pose. In Adobe Photoshop, I extended the background a little bit and exported it as *.jpeg full resolution and smaller version for web use. Below are a few more images captured during the same […]

Today’s photo of a day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is of our little model, sticking pose after pose in our cosy studio @Ozgo.Productions. Now might be the best time to book a family portrait session in our small home studio here @Ozgo.Productions. The session will be up to 1 hour long, cost £75 and will include 3 digital images of your choice. We can only accommodate one small family at the time, parent/s and 1 […]

Orange Pumpkin Dress – a Halloween Theme Photo Session

Halloween Theme Photo Session at Ozgo Productions with Diana dressed in an orange pumpkin dress playing with various orange objects. She started posing with a witch orange hat. Then she played with some tangerines, lining them up and throwing them in the air. Then she started playing with an orange telescope looking for the stars. She tried to connect an orange Lacie external hard drive to the iPad…unsuccessfully. She played with an orange Black & Decker drill machine, drilling imaginary holes in the air. Tried my Tissot watch with the orange wrist band. She organised documents in an orange plastic […]

Christmas card

Christmas Card to hang on the wall This will be a surprise Christmas Card for my parents featuring my daughter Diana. This is a composite, I’ve photoshopped in a portrait of Diana that I shot especially for this purpose. She was dressed up in a Santa Costume and the matching hat. I am pleased with the results and decided to print it A3 and give it to my parents to hang it on the wall. If you want something similar done featuring your baby instead please contact me.

Newborn photo session

Diana was born on Friday, 26 August 2016 at Queen’s Hospital in Romford at 7:05 am. When she was only two days old she has her first photo session. The next photo session at 3 weeks old when aunt Victoria and grandma came to visit. The third photo session was at 6 weeks old, and you can easily see how much she has changed.

Second place in Deryck Clements B&W Print Competition

My image, named “In your face” ends up in the second place in the Deryck Clements B&W Print Competition hosted by the Romford Camera Club. My other two images scored a 9 out of 10 and an 8 out of 10. I have to admit that my print quality and mounting was not very good but overall I’m happy with the results. Please check out the 3 images I have entered in this competition and let me know which one do you like most? “In Your Face” “British Museum” “Follow the Light”
