083-2020 – Under the blanket


Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is coming from “under the blanket” where my daughter used to sit this morning, comfortably tucked in with the headsets on.

She is only 3 years and 7 months old and clearly passionate about technology. She might became a famous DJ one day, if that job will still exist in 15 years time or AI will take over.
First, let’s hope the government will not ban mass gatherings forever, under the pretext of saving lives.

Statistically doesn’t make sense. The majority of people infected with COVID-19 might not even have symptoms, and 99% will survive. This means a 1% or less mortality rate.

In 2016 there were 181,384 accident casualties recorded on Britain’s roads; 1,792 of these were fatal according to Commons Library and nobody is shutting down motorways and public roads.
I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that the entire Coronavirus crisis is hiding something else that is about to happen which will impact every human on the globe.
One thing is sure, the economic depression is here to stay and is very convenient to blame it on the Coronavirus.
