Annual Black & White Print Competition 2017

On 1st March 2017, Romford Camera Club invited judge Roy Essery DPAGB, to judge 2017 Annual Black & White Print Competition.

I had 3 images into the battle:

British Museum – 8.5 points

Follow the Light – 8.5 points

In your face -7.5 points

This time the judge decided to give each image points from 1 to 10 and save some images for latter from which 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be chosen.

It was a great evening with many great images entered into the competition. I have to admit that b&w is not my  greatest strength, but it’s something that I am looking at improving in the near future. One thing is certain, not all colour images convert into a black and white masterpiece.
